NFT Marketplace Comparison: Day 2

OpenSea's sales distribution is worse than Rarible.

To compare with the pareto distribution shown on Rarible last week, here are some quick facts on @opensea:

1. 80% of sales come from 11% of sellers (1602)

2. 50% of sales come from 1.9% of sellers (285)

3. 25% of sales come from 0.4% of sellers (54)

Get the idea? This distribution is extremely unstable and even worse than Rarible. If a few of the top sellers get burned, it will cause a very fast chain reaction and tank the largest NFT marketplace. This is entirely possible because it is a two-sided distribution - the top buyers vs the top sellers. Neither side is supported by a significant retail base.
